Yes, tickets are required for entry into Juneteenth Family Fest. Since this event is now ticketed, it is suggested to purchase in advance to avoid lines. Children 6 and above will need a ticket as well. You can purchase tickets Here via Eventbrite.
Children 5 and under do not need tickets to attend the event. Children 6 and above will need to have a purchased ticket. You can purchase tickets via Eventbrite.
Riverfront Park is in North Charleston located on the former Charleston Naval Base, easily accessible from I-526 and I-26.
Yes, feel free to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and tents. Please Note: There is a designated tent area to ensure those with tents don’t obstruct the stage view for others. We ask that everyone with tents sit in the designated area ONLY and do not have enclosures that block the view of the stage from others. Those that do will be asked to take down their tent.
Yes, coolers are allowed in the park. However, they can only contain water and non-alcoholic beverages. No outside food is allowed. Coolers will be checked upon entry into the park.
Yes, there will be both savory and sweet food for purchase from local vendors at Juneteenth Family Fest! There will be a variety of food options for all dietary restrictions.
No, this is an alcohol free event, as it is a family-focused event aimed at creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all ages. Thank you for understanding. .
Smoking, vaping, and alcohol are prohibited at the Juneteenth Family Fest, as it is a family-focused event aimed at creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all ages. Thank you for your cooperation. Note that there will be a designated smoking area outside the event space.
Family is at the core of our Juneteenth celebration. We love the kids and have added a Kids Fest to this year’s event.
Our ancestors made it work and so will we. Juneteenth Family Fest is a rain or shine event. Tickets are non-refundable.
Yes, we will have law enforcement and security on site at Juneteenth Family Fest. Our goal is to have a safe event that all of the family will enjoy. It takes a village, if you see something, say something immediately.
